Besides her dad, Aelig will have plenty of French opportunities when she goes to kindy, school, friends, etc, unless you send her to an English speaking school. I wish I have your resilience in teaching my daughter Mandarin, but as I didn't go to a chinese school nor speak it with my family when growing up, I felt like fish out of water speaking it. She still does know a few words, but not nearly enough. L will write to Aelig in English, so be prepared! :) Jin Lianjinxyjingleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15025918220594257816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16525395.post-10769146316629637832012-12-15T23:09:48.183+01:002012-12-15T23:09:48.183+01:00Dear Bee Ean,

I spoke Mandarin and English with my son when he was born til age of 3, But by time we had to send him to nursery(in Marrakesh) He could not either speak English, French or Mandarin. Guess he was late with his language skill.. so i took a decision to cut out Mandarin and keep English so that he could communicate with others.

I regrade so much to have not continue with both languages..
Aelig is not even 3 and can count in so many languages..so there is no problem at all for her to master all three.

Bisous,
SylviaNyonyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06492174230887606053noreply@blogger.com
