When you have yellow lawn

This summer we have heat wave all over France. At one point in my city it was 42°C, hotter than in Malaysia. I prefer weather around 25°C so we decided to go North but still, we had 39°C in Bruges when we were there.

The photo above shows our lawn on mid July.

In mid August, lawn in my in laws place was turning yellow.

My father in laws told me that we have no right to water the lawn as it could consomme too much water and cause water shortage if everyone does it. It makes sense.

My car has no AC so driving around at this hot weather is very unpleasant. I decided to send it to the garage, and when I got it back in the afternoon, it was fixed with cool air flowing. Unfortunately, it only lasted for one week, as I know it was caused by more complicated electrical problem. The other garage we trust doesn't fix AC problem anymore. I'm not sure what to do next. It will remain unfix until autumn comes I guess.
