Christmas and New Year

This has been the third Christmas I have in France. As usual we have lots of good food. My boyfriend's parents have been cooking the whole day. In his family, we put a shoe on the floor and people will put the presents around the shoe. We have many courses of meals, so in between meal we open a present. That was fun!!

We celebrated New Year in a castle, I didn't have chance to take pictures.

The family hand made the Christmas cake. Yes, they have a special cake for Christmas!

Shrimp and oystel

Scallop and Asparagus. The sauce is made of orange juice and vanilla. Yummy!

This is not exactly lobster, it is called langouste in French.

Lycee and starfruit juice. The starfruit is from Malaysia!

This dish is made of crab meat.
