Not in the good mood

The pressure of life is here.

Work wise, politics start pouring in. On one hand people asked me for information, on the other hand people prevented me from replying.

After a long day, at around 6pm, no sign of carpooler preparing to leave. Another day of leaving late. Thinking about the 1 hour 15 minutes drive + grocery + gas station before I can even set my foot into the apartment.

Passed 8pm. Arrived with heavy grocery bags and a tired body. No time to sit down, head straight to the kitchen, as two mouths were waiting to be fed.

I don't know how long I can hold up to this. First of all, I hate driving, second of all, I hate doing grocery, third of all, I super hate cooking after a long day!!!

  1. Gawd! I feel your pain.

I hate to commute. I only survived at my job because it was less than ten miles from my home, around 20 minutes, for 11+ years.

I hate to grocery shop. I abdicated to my husband!

I hate to cook, precisely because there are two mouths to feed. What would I have ever done if I had had children to feed.

If it feels like pressure now, what would it feel like with a baby? Do you think that children make the grind feel more rewarding? I don't know the answer, at all. I just imagine that that's the joy that some people find in having a family.

Good luck and get some rest!

    Hi Bee Ean,

Overserving how the English families eat, I think we Asian spend too much time on cooking.

My better half always ensure the family have nitritious food.. visited a english lady house last week and it was all oven chips, cheese and tomato salad. (Takes about 5 minutes to prepare).

  3. framericaine,

I asked myself the same question, how if those waiting for me its actually babies crawling on the floor! Must be stressed out after a while.

    Casper,

The French do take time to cook and enjoy their meal. Well, it seems that the British life a long life also no?

I don't like driving but will do it if no choice. Frankly I'm more scared of driving than driving itself. Am I making any sense?? Secondly I hate housework with a capital H. I love cooking though but not the cleaning up hehehe I love grocery shopping while my significant other hated going grocery shopping with me bcos I look at everything there. :p
