I'm in heaven!

We finally arrived in Interlaken Switzerland, after all the disappointments in Italy. We felt that we have finally found a place that pleases us. These two photos were taken from the balcony where we stay.

The weather is just perfect. I had a cheese raclette in a restaurant with a bunch of Swiss singing in French. It was just awesome.

In contrast to the heat, dirtiness and stress to get robed in Italy, we are in heaven!

Robbed in Italy? What happened! At least you're in lovely Switzerland now!

  5. Please tell us, if you want, how did you get robbed in Italy? Pick-pocketed?
When I was in Rome, a guy in my group caught a girl reaching for his wallet and got it in time. This happened in a train.

Switzerland is definitely gorgeous. Wish I could go back there. I love the atmosphere.

  7. Bee Ean,
I'm not surprised. Hope that you are not hurt. I took up self-defense but I would not remember what to do if someone were to rob me now. Probably run.

When I was in Milan, an Italian guy warned me to be careful of pick pockets. Our consulate in Milan at that time shared that there was political instability and the people toppled the government every few months. (I don't know the situation now). When I was in Rome, the pensioners picketed along the road. When I arrived in Venice, a girl was arrested because she did drugs!

When I was in Cologne Bonn, Germany a couple (one with a newspaper to hide and another to snatch) tried to steal my wallet or passport. I broke from them and ran away.

I would like to visit Switzerland someday. Only saw the Alps from the plane. Hope you enjoy yourselves and have a good time in Switzerland.

  9. Hey guys,

Thanks for all your concerns. Sorry I must have mislead you guys. I was not robbed, but scared to be robbed in Italy. Fabien's bag strap was half cut so we presumed someone was trying to do something.

    Will update later.
